At OCEANDIARE, we are committed to prioritizing the prevention of incidents, safeguarding health, and protecting the environment to ensure the efficient conduct of its operations.
HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT (HSE) POLICY
It is the policy of Oceandiare Energy Limited to safeguard the health and safety of its employees, contractors and other persons affected by our operations and to manage the environment within which it operates sustainably.
Oceandiare Energy Limited believes the prevention of incidents, ill health and protection of the environment are paramount to the efficient conducts of its operations. Therefore, Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) issues shall be given the utmost priority on our drive to ensure operational efficiency by implementing the following:
- Oceandiare Energy Limited shall continue to promote staff HSE competences for the safe and effective discharge of their responsibilities at the workplace.
- Oceandiare Energy Limited shall support contractor’s effort in achieving the same goal while aligning their health and safety management system to that of our Company
- Oceandiare Energy Limited shall conduct the risk of assessment, HSE audits, inspections, environmental studies, incident reporting and other safety related programs when required to facilitate the identification, mitigation and elimination of hazards and unsafe acts at the work place.
In addition, responsibility for compliance with Oceandiare Energy Limited’s policy resides with the line managers who are accountable for safety in their various assets including the entire staff, contractors and all visitors who enter our facilities. Everyone is held accountable for safety in the company.
Corporate HSE objectives and goals shall be set and benchmarked against our yearly HSE performance in an effort to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
This policy shall be made available at all notice boards and the company’s portal. It is important that every staff and contractor reads this policy and accepts the responsibility for ensuring their personal safety and that of others.
This policy shall be reviewed annually by management to ensure that it remains relevant to our operations and the scope of occupational health and safety.
