OUR CNG PLAN

The Nigerian government adopted CNG to power vehicles and ease the impact of the 2023 fuel subsidy removal. The Presidential CNG Initiative aims to deploy 11,500 CNG-enabled vehicles and 55,000 conversion kits.

OCEANDIARE ENERGY LIMITED is seizing this opportunity to expand its CNG investments. We will supply sustainable domestic CNG for auto gas and off-grid power, focusing on the South-East and South-South regions, particularly Imo and Rivers States.

Our plans include establishing a CNG compression plant near the AGPC facility, transporting CNG via specialized tankers to receiving hubs, and partnering with retailers for distribution.

OUR INFRASTRUCTURE PLAN

We plan to leverage investor partnerships to fund a CNG plant on 1.0 ha near AGPC facilities. The plant will feature 4 Intermech BBR CNG Compressors (600Nm³/hr at 250 barg), a CNG scrubber, air compressor, dryer, metering unit, and dispenser block.

Additionally, we will secure trailer-mounted CNG storage tanks, a 500kVA gas genset, a 350kVA diesel genset, an administrative block with a control room, and a borehole.

Reception terminals in Port Harcourt, Owerri, Enugu, and Nnewi will serve as key distribution hubs.

CNG MARKETING PLAN

At OCEANDIARE ENERGY LIMITED, we prioritize strategic investments to align with FGN CNG policy in Nigeria. Immediate steps

  • conclude ongoing study for CNG prospects in South-East/South-South axis,
  • provide CNG as fuel for off grid industrial power generation.
  • engage with owners of strategic petroleum products filling stations in the South East and South to install CNG reception terminals and dispensing facilities.
  • Build workshops and warehouse facilities for conversion of up to 7,000 vehicles to CNG by 2026 and 15,000 vehicles by 2030

COMBINATION FILL STATION

Our proposed CNG fueling station will leverage a drying, compression, storage, and dispensing system to ensure efficient gas delivery. Natural gas will be processed through an inlet gas dryer before being compressed and stored in a multi-tiered storage vessel system (high, mid, and low pressure).

Vehicles can be refueled through natural gas dispensers for quick fueling or hose post assemblies for larger vehicles. Additionally, a time-fill panel will enable overnight refueling for fleet operations. This system ensures reliable, scalable, and cost-effective CNG distribution, supporting sustainable transportation.

OUR FUNDING PLAN

We propose to fund the project part equity and leverage from strategic investors and funding institution. We also intend to leverage on available facilities through CBN for CNG initiatives.

GAS AVAILABILITY /OFFTAKE

Our CNG volume interest in AGPC is 5 – 20 mmscf. We are ready to commence gas offtake by the Q3 2024 and progress in a step-wise projection as below;

EXPANSION PLAN

Our overall CNG volume will increase from 5.00mmscfd in 2025 to 20mmscfd in 2030, when we hope that domestic demand for CNG and supporting infrastructure would have sufficiently matured.

IMPLEMENTATION PLAN

Our implementation plan include execution of gas contracts, engineering design as well as procurement and construction of relevant infrastructure.

Implementation of EPC of the Compression station plant at AGPC plant Construction of CNG intermediate stations at PH, Enugu, Owerri and Nnewi. Procurement of CNG Bridgers.

TYPICAL CNG SUPPLY CHAIN

OCEANDIARE offers a CNG supply solution that will utilize a streamlined compression, transportation, and delivery system to ensure reliable and efficient gas supply. Natural gas will be sourced from a pipeline and compressed at a mother station before being transported via CNG trailers to the customer’s location.

Upon arrival, the gas will be offloaded and regulated through a Pressure Reduction System (PRMS) to ensure safe and optimal pressure levels. The gas will then be seamlessly integrated into the client’s equipment or plant, providing a continuous and efficient energy source.

This system offers a cost-effective, scalable, and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fuels, ensuring uninterrupted operations and long-term energy savings.
